Cars Quatre Roues Rallye

Get your kicks on Route 66! If you're going hard enough left on those dusty desert tracks, you'll find yourself turning right...

Opened alongside Crush's Coaster in June 2007, this attraction is entirely unique to the park and the first to be based on Pixar's 2006 animated film Cars, which features an elaborate automobile-inhabited Route 66 town named Radiator Springs. Thanks to Disney magic, you're stepping into it right now...

Cars Quatre Roues Rallye

With the film a huge hit amongst younger children and particularly boys, selling endless die-cast models and other merchandise, this unintimidating ride will be a dream come true for its fans, mixing all the clever car-themed locations of the town into a surprisingly small footprint with effortless style and art direction.

Even compared to its nearest cousin at the resort, Mad Hatter's Tea Cups, this is a lavish and well thought-out treatment for a "simple" spinning ride. However, beneath the façades at the back of the queue, the industrial, bare-bones style of the construction — with visible wires and unhidden speakers — will likely prevent this from becoming a similar classic.

Don't be put off, though — even for adults, this is a wildly fun attraction, filled with knowing nods to the film and its motor-crazed style and presenting a unique interchanging-turntable ride which puts the wind in your hair and big American smile right across your face.

Sit behind the wheel of a rookie racer in a near-miss, figure-8 desert spin-out across two turntables.

  • Each rookie car is relatively small and so can only hold two adults and two children — with only up to one adult in each row — but not four adults. If you've no children to ride along with, you can just take a row to yourself!
  • Since the spinning cars are pulled around a figure-of-eight turntable rather than two additional, spinning turntables as at Mad Hatter's Tea Cups, this attraction may be more enjoyable for those left dizzy by Fantasyland's tea party madness.
  • For the shortest queues, visit during performances at other child-friendly attractions such as Animagique Theater, or during the main parade event.

  • May not be suitable for sufferers of motion sickness or dizziness.
  • Transfer required. Must be accompanied in order to assist in transfer to the ride vehicles, which have very limited legroom.
