Rustler Roundup Shootin' Gallery

Yee-haw! Test your shot, cowboy!

Get 'yer gun and take aim on an explosive tableaux of Western scenery.

Before you head out on your wild, Western adventure, you might want to stop off at this fun shooting gallery, where you can test your skill and see if you've got what it takes to become a legend of the Wild West.

This classic attraction can be found in every Frontierland and, despite being the only "attraction" in the park to require a small extra charge besides Dapper Dan's Hair Cuts, still draws large crowds at peak times in Paris thanks to its clever array of special effects and animated targets, situated right at the heart of Thunder Mesa.

  • Similar attractions can be found at the other magic kingdom Frontierlands. At Disneyland in California, Frontierland Shootin' Exposition, at Magic Kingdom in Florida, Frontierland Shootin' Arcade and at Tokyo Disneyland, Westernland Shootin' Gallery.
  • When the original Frontierland Shootin' Exposition opened at Disneyland in 1957, it used actual BB guns with lead pellets to knock the targets down! The attraction was eventually upgraded to the same infra-red system used here when the technology became available in the late eighties.

Take aim at 74 animated targets, arranged in 11 groups, to activate 86 special sound effects from 66 high fidelity speakers!
