Disneyland Railroad Fantasyland Station

All aboard!

Travel by train from the jolly pomp of Fantasyland's British quarter to exotic and surprising destinations.

Sitting at the back of Fantasyland, behind Fantasy Festival Stage, Fantasyland Station is often surrounded by stunning blossom trees in season and presents one of the most beautiful stop-off points on the entire line.

The station building mixes several styles of British building, from Tudor beams to the exuberant English station architecture of the railways' golden age, helped by baggage trolleys and other rail paraphernalia littering the platform.

Trivia

  • The design of this Fantasyland Station is completely unique to Disneyland Paris. Though Hong Kong Disneyland also has a station located in Fantasyland, it is a much different, simpler and smaller design based on the original 1955 version at Disneyland in California, which closed in 1966 to make room for "it's a small world". Tokyo, California and Florida instead have stations based in their Toon Town lands, although this may change for Florida with the major expansion of its own Fantasyland.
  • Fantasy Festival Stage was a late addition in front of the station. The Imagineers had originally intended the space to be left open — indeed, a tunnel was constructed underneath the station building and railway tracks, leading to the other side of the park's outer berm and future attractions that never were, or have yet to be!

The station mixes several styles of construction, from wooden Tudor beams to Victorian bricks and ironwork

Tips

  • Once you're on-board the Disneyland Railroad, you're free to alight at any stop or stay on-board and ride for as long as you like!
  • Like the stations in Frontierland and Discoveryland, Fantasyland Station often only opens from 12:30 onwards each day. Wait by the rope before this time and you should be one of the first in line, although may still have to wait some time for the next train.
  • Of the Disneyland Railroad stations, Fantasyland Station likely has one of the shorter queue times due to its slightly hidden entrance and location right at the back of the park, meaning more people decide to get off the train here.
