Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, the grand Summer fireworks show of Disneyland Park, finally premiered on 16th July 2005 after months of speculation. This is it, the very first public performance!

The show was introduced for Paris’ part of ‘The Happiest Celebration On Earth’, the 50th Anniversary of the original Disneyland in California, mixing the music of the Florida fireworks show with a first-of-its-kind laser and projection show. Unfortunately, the premiere night was filled with technical problems that saw the show begin over 25 minutes later than scheduled – with the crowd giving a relieved cheer as the announcement began!

The following year, 2006, saw the show filled with a large amount of extra fireworks, filling all the “gaps” in this original edition.
